Volunteer Auction Group Coordinator

 

The responsibilities include:

  • As part of the Social Media team you run our Facebook CHR Auction group.

  • Make contact with vendor, small businesses for donations to use for our auction

  • Schedule Auction days, maintain & monitor the group and arrange for winners pickup and/or drop-offs
     

  • We are looking for people who love animals and want to further our no-kill rescue mission using everyday technology to manage our Facebook Auction Group.

  • Use the auction group to promote small businesses while helping CHR financially to assist with vet bills and with additional intake

  • Develop and manage contacts, donators for current and future auctions.

  • Take part in monthly social media zoom meetings

  • Keeping up to date with CHR’s events and news, and choosing when to start an auction.

  • We are looking for someone who can commit at minimum 6 months and has 3-4 hours weekly to offer.

Volunteer DONATIONS COORDINATOR

The Donations Coordinator will work closely with the Intake Manager & Events Coordinator to secure gift in kind donations.

 

The responsibilities include:

  • Build and manage a team of Donations Coordinators.

  • Work with Intake Manager to build and maintain an inventory of supplies such as leashes, harnesses, collars, blankets, healthy food & treats, crates, toys, and other services such as grooming for new intake dogs (i.e. nail trims, bath, hair cut if required).

  • Network with local groomers, pet store, vets etc. to get donation bins set up in their store. Collect donations and log into inventory.
